The Jackal is a one piece longbow that is a reflex/deflex bow with reverse trapezoid limbs. If you’re a fan of the Stalker recurve handle, you’ll immediately recognize the hybrid pistol grip that provides the same repeatable grip. The one piece longbow is available in three different models: The Dingo SL, XT and FXT. The bow is available in 62”, 64”, 66” and 68” models.
Our slimmest riser, the Jackal was designed for the longbow shooter seeking a more traditional straight-wrist Howard Hill style grip, with the consistent accuracy of a locator grip.
Another of our hybrid bow models, the Jackal comes with the option of either longbow or static recurve limbs – which can be interchanged at will and also paired compatibly with our Coyote risers.
With the acquisition of A&H Archery, Dryad Bows, and their ACS limb patent, Stalker Stickbows has also begun offering an optional upgrade to ACS longbow limbs for our Jackal and Coyote models. With a concave cross-section resembling a tape measure near the tips, ACS limbs are more rigid, require less material, and shoot with increased velocity, compared to our standard XT limbs – making them a must-have for anyone seeking to maximize the performance of their bow.

JACKAL SL
Built standard with either complimenting or contrasting pieces of dyed actionwood flanking an accent stripe that runs down the middle, the Jackal SL riser can also be upgraded from our entire selection of exotic hardwoods at their regular respective rates. Likewise, the Jackal SL’s standard actionwood limbs can be upgraded at usual cost to exotic hardwood veneers for a custom appearance, as well as reinforced with bamboo cores for an additional $50 to significantly improve performance.
JACKAL XT
Distinguished by their curved accent stripe, Jackal XT risers are built from either complimenting or contrasting blocks of exotic hardwood, resulting in a steadier draw than can be achieved with a much lighter actionwood handle. The veneered bamboo core Jackal XT limbs also significantly improve upon the performance of their SL counterparts, shooting faster and farther distances.
JACKAL FXT
The premium Jackal model: the FXT is a substantial visual upgrade from the SL and XT variants, replacing the thin accent stripe in the riser with a large center flare in the shape of an hourglass. Built standard with our bamboo core XT limbs – which can be upgraded to ACS on a longbow – the Jackal FXT is also designed with a concealed G-10 I-beam in the riser, making the FXT the most durable and attractive option for a Jackal.
