The Do’s and Don'ts
Never dry-fire your bow (releasing the string from full draw without an arrow)
Do not leave your bow strung in the heat
Do not store your bow standing upright
Do not shoot improperly arrow spines with your bow
Only shoot feather fletchings off the shelf of your bow
Avoid exposing your bow to moisture for extended periods of time
Shoot your bow at least semi-frequently if regularly stored strung
Take extreme caution to avoid twisting your limbs during the stringing/unstringing process
Purchase a case to protect your bow from the many hazards of hunting
Send your bow in to be refinished when the scratches start to add up
